Jeff Musgrave is currently taking a one year sabbatical from his work with Push International in order to spend more time with his growing family. We look forward to welcoming Jeff back to our dedicated team next year.
Dear Friends and Supporters,
Over the last 12 years I have had great times in wheelchair ministry, visited several countries, collected over 11,000 wheelchairs, and had the chance to personally give some away to great people. Your prayers, financial support, and donations of equipment has made it all possible. I want to deeply thank you for your support.
This next year I am moving into some unchartered territory, I am taking a one year sabbatical, a much needed break. I have come to a point where I need to pause, reevaluate, and focus on a few aspects of my personal life as well as the growing needs of the family. Kids activities, schooling and family time are equally important and require more time and dedication each year. I have stepped down as President and official of Board of Directors for Push International. Please be assured this is not due to any conflict or discrepancies within the organization or family. This decision came with heartache, but the more I ponder it, the more I need it.
Organizationally speaking, there could not be a better time to take a break. Padres y Compadres, the rehab center in Mexico, has finished all of their building project and is complete! Teams have been running smother than ever thanks to Sergio, Sylvia and Rita's efforts. The flow of wheelchairs has been very good quality and consistent. I have space at my house which I plan to continue using for wheelchair storage going towards Push's efforts. But I am not planning to lead or attend any distribution trips during this time.
I leave a work very close to my heart in the trusted hands of a dedicated board that is as close as family to me. I have run my leg of the race and hope to recharge to run another leg in the future. This year off will help me understand the next step more. I covet your prayers and understanding. This is a time of transition for me and my family. I would appreciate time to process through this. Should you have questions or concerns please email them to me and I will reply to them as I am able.
With a sincere heart,
