Rates:
Push International recognizes and honors all volunteer’s contributions to the work that we do. We would not exist if it were not for the work of our volunteers.
To keep our operating costs low and ensure that our donor’s money is spent serving the disabled community, we require anyone who wants to participate in a wheelchair distribution or outreach to pay fees.
Your fees include in country housing, transportation, meals, translators when applicable, pre-event coordination, post-event follow up, international health insurance policy,
Push International t-shirt to commemorate your participation and in-country staff-support.
As of January 2010, non-therapy team rates are:
$600.00 per person for a one week distribution or outreach at the Mazatlan, Mexico Hub + airfare.
$500.00 for a child under the age of 10, who is traveling with a family member, for a one week distribution or outreach at the Mazatlan, Mexico Hub + airfare.
There is a $100 Return Volunteer Discount for any volunteer who has attended a distribution or outreach with Push International in the past.
Push International will make all travel arrangements for your team.
*Package rates will vary based on where your team is flying from and which activities your team would like to include in your customized week in the field. Minimim team size is 10 volunteers. Please contact us with any questions.
*Some rate exceptions may be made at your team leader's discretion.
Deadlines:
Volunteer Applications: are due no later than 8 weeks prior to the departure date.
Reservation deposit: $150.00 non-refundable reservation deposit is due 8 weeks prior to departure with the volunteer application, this deposit is applied toward the volunteer’s grounds fees.
Grounds fees and airfare: must be paid in full no later than 4 weeks prior to the departure date.

Volunteers who wish to work at the Hub on a distribution team may apply for the Steve Oliver Memorial Scholarship. If an applicant is chosen, the money awarded will be applied toward their grounds fees. |
